Dr. Jagmohan Singh Gadhok

He is the founder and President of Laser Systems. Earlier, he founded and operated Lasesys Corporation in California for 20 years. Lasesys developed and marketed high performance Laser Scanning products for industrial and military applications worldwide.
He holds eight US patents. He has extensive experience in developing and bringing to market new products in various fields ranging from textiles, photo copiers, Laser printers and Laser processing machines.


His educational background includes, Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, M.S. in Engineering from Purdue University and Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University. He is also a graduate of the training School of the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. He has completed various advanced courses from MIT and University of Michigan.

 

Jeff Knirck

Jeff Knirck is the founder of Laser Scanning Solutions Inc. and is actively involved in the designing and manufacturing of its products.    Mr. Knirck possesses over 23 years of technical development and management experience, with over 11 years in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry.  Mr. Knirck has held R&D, Development Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Management with Ultratech Stepper.  At Lockheed Missile System Division Mr. Knirck conducted systems engineering on the Trident II missile system.  Mr. Knirck also served as the Electronics and Systems Manager for AG Associates, a manufacturer of rapid thermal processing and CVD semiconductor processing equipment. 

Mr. Knirck developed the electronics and user interface for an optical analysis biotechnology tool for Becton-Dickinson’s Immunocytometry Systems Division; designed and developed an automated process for precise deposition of electrically conductive epoxy and UV cured polyurethane for Taliq Corporation, a Division of Raychem Corporation; and designed an X-Y Stage Servo Controller for Eaton Semiconductor’s Microlithography Division.  At Applied Materials he integrated a megasonic wafer cleaning station and a thin-film inspection station in their CMP wafer-polishing tool.  Mr. Knirck designed the stage mechanisms for the MegaScanner and the MiniScanner photolithography systems as well as the most of the electronics systems and some mechanical and optical components. 

Mr. Knirck has served as a technology consultant and board member of two high-technology manufacturing companies, and holds several U.S.Patents dealing with motors, optical shutter designs and related technology.  Mr. Knirck earned his Masters of Science in Applied Science at the University of California at Davis in 1980, and Bachelor of Science in Physics at Cal-Poly University in 1977.

 

Paul Swanson

Paul Swanson has 23 years of experience in the field of software development, electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems support and engineering.  During his career Mr. Swanson has architected and implemented major software controls and interfaces for highly sophisticated semiconductor photolithography and inspection systems.  He has directly supported companies including Eaton-Optimetrix, Ultratech Stepper, Photon Dynamics, MiniScanner Engineering and KLA-Tencor. Mr. Swanson helped found Laser Scanning Solutions and is actively involved in the day-to-day software and systems engineering programs as well as various support roles. 

Mr. Swanson has had extensive experience in software development of real-time systems using advanced software tools and languages.  Prior to the above-mentioned experiences Mr. Swanson was a responsible for the Weapons Control Department on board various US nuclear attack and ballistic missile submarines.

 

Mr. Donald R Wenzel

Don has nearly 20 years experience in the laser industry working in R&D, manufacturing, electronics, testing and production management. He was instrumental in bringing to production the electronics for the laser based products developed and manufactured by Lasesys Corporation and Laser Scanning Systems of California. For the last three years he has been responsible for transferring the manufacturing knowledge, practices and technology from Lasesys Corporation to Laser Scanning Systems Pvt. Ltd. India. Don is responsible for the initial training and continuing education of the manufacturing staff at Laser Scanning Systems Pvt Ltd India.

Prior to entering the laser industry Don spent 8 years in the United States Navy as a Submarine Nuclear Reactor Operator and Engineering Supervisor and has completed several laser safety and professional courses.
