SERVO CONTROLLERS

LS has two linear servo controllers and power amplifier that ensures you realize maximum accuracy and performance possible from your LS galvos. The basic unit is traditional PID controller with mechanical tuning capability. A 2-axis version with micro processor control is also available in which system turning is accomplished using a Windows PC, reducing the time to complete this critical task by an order of magnitude. This controller can drive two galvos for  2-axis beam positioning.

There is no other controller on the market like it. Its unique benefits include:
•System turning that is easier, faster, more accurate and requires less expertise.
•Electronic system turning via-easy-use software running on a Windows PC
•Extra performance and stable class 1 servo control with a standard position, Integration, Differentiation (PID) loop plus the unique ability to control velocity and acceleration.
•Integrated Digital-to-Analog (DAC) converters provide the option of direct digital control without the need for an additional PC board.

The unique technology innovations that enable the above benefits are as follows:
1.Digital Potentiometers: instead of traditional pots that must be laboriously adjusted by hand, these all-digital potentiometers enable electronic system turning from a Windows PC. The software shows you exactly where each pot is set, and these settings can reused as needed.

2.“Plug-N-Go” Technology: The controller has the ability to read individual parameters (such as torque constant, inductance, etc.) stored in the EPROM on each galvo, allowing automatic compensation for manufacturing variations.
